After the 2003 Daegu subway tragedy, Fire & Safety Expo Korea was created in 2004 and is held once a year with the aim of developing the firefighting and safety sectors and making Korea one of the safest countries in the world. Fire & Safety Expo Korea covers not only the firefighting field but also the safety of structures, railroads, gas and electricity. Leading firefighting and safety companies and buyers from around the world gather at Fire Expo Korea.

A seguito della tragedia della metropolitana di Daegu nel 2003, nel 2004 è stata inaugurata la Fire & Safety Expo Korea, organizzata con cadenza annuale con l'obiettivo di sviluppare l'industria dell' antincendio e della sicurezza e di rendere la Corea uno dei Paesi più sicuri al mondo. La Fire & Safety Expo Korea non si limita al settore antincendio, ma riguarda anche la sicurezza delle infrastrutture, delle ferrovie, del gas e dell'elettricità. La Fire Expo Korea riunisce le aziende leader del settore antincendio e della sicurezza e gli operatori del settore provenienti da tutto il mondo.
