Long Range Night Vision

A breakthrough technology that provides superior identification and recognition capabilities compared to the best thermal imager. I​n high traffic areas like commercial shipping channels, it is particularly important to properly distinguish between civilians rightfully exercising their professional or leisure activities and those attempting to commit illegal trades such as drug trafficking, illegal alien smuggling, terrorism and piracy. 

With the increasing acts of piracy and terrorism at sea, it is now essential to identify a ship and corroborate that the declared identity is the same as what can be read from the hull. To gather as much of this information as possible, a night surveillance system must be able to provide high resolution, realtime video rate images providing the reflective properties of paint, materials and ideally, see through glass for a complete observation.

The ARGC cameras have two sensors that can be used with the high magnification telescope: a color camera and an Intensified Charged-Couple Device (ICCD) camera, gated to the laser pulse. The telescope design is achromatic and therefore the camera can provide the same high magnification at day or night. Moreover, a wide-field-of-view color camera is also available for day observation. A thermal camera can be installed on the top of the ARGC-2400 or inside the enclosure of the ARGC-750 based on required performance.

Con el aumento de los actos de piratería y terrorismo en alta mar, resulta esencial identificar un barco y corroborar que la identidad declarada es la misma que se puede leer en el casco. Para recopilar la mayor cantidad posible de esta información, un sistema de vigilancia nocturno debe ser capaz de proporcionar imágenes de alta resolución en tiempo real que muestren las propiedades reflectantes de la pintura, los materiales e ,idealmente , la capacidad de ver a través del vidrio para una observación completa.

Las cámaras ARGC cuentan con dos sensores que pueden ser utilizados con el telescopio de alta magnificación: una cámara a color y una cámara de Dispositivo Acoplado de Carga Intensificada (ICCD), sincronizada con el pulso láser. El diseño del telescopio es acromático y por lo tanto la cámara puede proporcionar la misma alta magnificación de día o de noche. Además, también está disponible una cámara a color de amplio campo de visión para la observación durante el día. Es posible instalar una cámara térmica en la parte superior del ARGC-2400 o dentro del recinto del ARGC-750 según el rendimiento requerido.

THE ARGC-750 NIGHT VISION CAMERA was especially engineered for perimeter and border surveillance. The ARGC-750 can be deployed as a standalone system or easily integrated with radars, Vessel Traffic Management System (VTMS) or thermal imagers. This portablecamera allows human identification at distances up to 1 km and license plate reading up to 500 m. Thanks to its operation in the near-infrared, this system also provides the capability to see through glass where the thermal imager is useless.
